41번째 업데이트

같은 목표를 마음에 품은 채 만난 사람들이라고 해도
모두가 완전히 똑같은 생각을 하고 있지는 않을 것입니다.
처음에는 서로가 바라보는 방향이 비슷하다고 생각하지만
점점 더 목표에 가까워질수록 그 차이가 점점 더 드러나게 마련입니다.

때에 따라서는 그러한 차이를 이해하고 상대방의 생각을 배려해줄 수도 있지만
주변의 의견에 휘둘리지 않고 자기 의견을 명확히 표현해야 할 때도 있습니다.
어쩌면 서로의 생각의 차이를 인정하고 적당한 시점에서 갈라져서
각자의 길을 향해 나아가는 것이 올바른 결정일 수도 있습니다.

이렇게 너무 많은 선택의 갈림길이 있기 때문에,
어떻게 행동해야 하는지 결정을 내리는 것은 쉬운 일이 아닙니다.
하지만 그렇다고 해서 계속해서 결단을 내리기를 미룰 수는 없겠죠.
다른 사람에게 상처를 입히기 두려워서 아무것도 하지 않는다면
가까운 미래에 더 많은 문제를 만들어내게 될지도 모릅니다.

물론 생각없이 지금 당장 결단의 칼을 들이대는 것은 현명하지 않을 겁니다.
하지만 결정을 내려야 한다는 마음을 가지고 스스로를 돌아보고
자신이 어떻게 행동해야 할지를 조금만 더 관심있게 생각하다보면
그 전에는 발견하지 못한 지혜를 찾을 수 있을 지도 모릅니다.

 

 

The people who get together with the same goal in their minds
may not be targeting exactly the same thoughts and ideas.
You may first think that you are looking at almost the same direction,
but as you get closer to the goal, the differences tend to get bigger.

In some cases, you may understand the difference and accept their thoughts,
but there are times that you need to express your thought firmly to others.
Or it may be a wise decision to agree to disagree with others
and part ways with each other at an appropriate time.

Because there are too many options to select from,
it is not an easy task to decide which way you should go.
However, you cannot just postpone your resolution indefinitely.
If you do nothing because you are afraid to hurt others' feelings,
you may need to face bigger problems in the near future.

Of course, it is not wise to pick one up without a thought and do it.
Make up your mind to make a decision,
and then look back on yourself and your surroundings closely.
You may come across a sliver of wisdom that you have been overlooking.
